The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is set to commence the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream Two Orientation Course with a remarkable number of 103,000 Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) across the country.
In an official statement released by Eddy Megwa, the Director of Press and Public Relations for NYSC, the orientation exercise will kick off nationwide on Wednesday, 17th April 2024. Due to the substantial turnout of registrants, the NYSC has opted to mobilize PCMs in Batches and Streams to ensure a conducive and well-organized experience.
Megwa emphasized the importance of this strategic approach, which will help decongest orientation camps and maintain optimal health conditions for all participants.
Prospective Corps Members not included in the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream Two are assured that they will receive their call-up letters for the June 2024 Orientation Exercise.
Brigadier General YD Ahmed, the Director General of NYSC, extended best wishes to all PCMs embarking on this journey, emphasizing the significance of this transition in their lives.
For updates and information, PCMs and the public are advised to stay informed through NYSC’s official Social Media Handles and traditional media outlets.
