Johnny Depp has responded to claims made by Lola Glaudini, his co-star in the film ‘Blow’, alleging aggressive behavior towards her during filming.
Glaudini recounted an incident on the Powerful Truth Angels podcast where she described being berated by Depp on set. She mentioned director Ted Demme instructing her to laugh during one of Depp’s monologues, but when she complied, Depp allegedly confronted her aggressively, accusing her of pulling focus and disrupting his performance.
Depp’s representative stated that his priority is maintaining good working relationships with cast and crew, and that Glaudini’s recollection differs from others who were present on set at the time.
Glaudini, known for her role in ‘Criminal Minds’, shared that despite being excited to work with Depp, she felt humiliated by the incident. She mentioned receiving what she called a “non-apology apology” from Depp afterward.
This comes after Depp won a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, in 2022. He had sued Heard over an article she wrote about domestic violence, and the jury ruled in his favor, awarding him compensatory and punitive damages.
