President Bola Tinubu has made significant appointments to the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) and other agencies under the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.
For AMCON, the appointees awaiting Senate confirmation are Gbenga Alade as Managing Director/CEO and Aminu Ismail, Adeshola Lamidi, and Lucky Adaghe as Executive Directors. Tinubu expects them to bring dedication and professionalism to their roles, enhancing the efficiency and transparency of AMCON’s operations.
Additionally, in agencies under the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, Tinubu appointed individuals like Abraham Oshadami, Rimini Makama, and Opeyemi Dele-Ajayi for the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), and Abiodun Attah, Aisha Abdullahi, and Jaiyeola Awokoya for the Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited. Ibrahim Adepoju Adeyanju, Mohammed Sani Ibrahim, Olusegun Olulade, and Olumbe Akinkugbe were appointed for Galaxy Backbone (BB) Limited.
