Osun State Governor, Sen Ademola Adeleke, has named popular Nollywood actress Laide Bakare as his Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism.
Bakare expressed her gratitude for the opportunity in a post on her Instagram account, promising to give her best in her new role. She shared photos with Governor Adeleke, thanking him for the trust placed in her.
In her post, Bakare described the appointment as the beginning of her political career, acknowledging the challenges ahead and expressing her commitment to serving the people of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole.
“To my new boss, Governor Ademola Adeleke Imole Osun, thank you so much for the trust and opportunity to serve. I promise to deliver my best. So help me God.
“The entire good people of Osun and Nigeria at large. It’s actually a new dawn for me starting my political career from here,” she said.
