Christian Horner, the prominent figure at Red Bull’s Formula 1 team, is under investigation for alleged inappropriate behavior. The inquiry, initiated by Red Bull, extends beyond the F1 team, covering the wider Red Bull company.
The investigation was prompted by recent allegations, although the specifics were not disclosed. Conducted independently, it is being overseen by an external specialist barrister. Horner, who has been with Red Bull since its F1 inception in 2005, has vehemently denied the claims.
Horner, 50, has been instrumental in Red Bull’s dominance in Formula 1, securing six constructors’ championships and seven drivers’ championships, including Max Verstappen’s consecutive titles since 2021.
The allegations have surfaced amid Red Bull’s unprecedented success, clinching 21 out of 22 races in the previous season, setting the stage for the upcoming 2024 season, which kicks off with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 2.
