Kodak Black – Harriet Tubman
Amwrican rapper, Kodak Black drops a new hit song on christmas titled “Harriet Tubman.”
“Harriet Tubman” is the first single off of his upcoming third studio album, Kill Bill. Released on Christmas day, the song was announced just one day before its official release and comes barely a month after Kodak Black was sentenced to nearly three years in prison over federal weapons charges.
The new song carries a strong activism tone and finds Kodak reflecting on his life and on society through the prism of slavery. The record is named after political activist Harriet Tubman, which escaped slavery at the age of 27 before conducting missions to rescue enslaved people through the 19th century.
