South Korean Singer, Goo Hara Found Dead At Home Six-months After Suicide Attempt





South Korean singer and actress, Goo Hara has been found dead just 6 months after she was hospitalized after suicide attempt.

On Sunday, November 24, 2019, The 28 year old singer who was a former member of the K-Pop group Kara, which she joined in 2008, was found dead at her home in Seoul.

According to Gangnam Police Department, Goo’s cause of death is still under investigation after a friend of the singer found her dead early Sunday morning. But South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency reports that police stated suicide is a possibility.

Goo posted a photo of herself lying in bed to her 1.6 million Instagram followers hours before her demise. With the caption “Good night,”

Also, reports has it that the singer allegedly attempted suicide in May 2019. She was found unconscious in her home at the time of that incident and hospitalized.

Goo later apologized to her fans for causing “concerns and a commotion.” “I am recovering,” Goo said in an interview after the incident. “I had been in agony over a number of overlapping issues… But from now on, I will steel my heart and try to be healthy.”
